You can just buy Kauffman’s premium Goldrush Apple Box, packed with homegrown, juicy Goldrush apples that are tree-ripened in Kauffman's beautiful orchards in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Our Goldrush apples are harvested fresh from our orchard, and only the finest are selected to be carefully hand-packed into our Apple Boxes. Snacking and Baking Goldrush is a “cousin” to Golden Delicious that is noted for its crisp, hard flesh. It has an intense, spicy taste that makes it a winner both for fresh eating and for baked apple dishes. Its very hard flesh also makes it a good keeping apple (in a cold refrigerator). Kauffman’s Goldrush apples are premium quality, Kosher, non-GMO, and non-waxed, and are packed in a special apple box with soft, high-density foam to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box holds approximately 2.5-3 lb. of fresh apples; the 16-count box, approximately 5-6 lb. (about a peck by volume); the 48-count box, approximately 15-18 lb. (about 3/5 bushel). Shipping Information. We pack your Apple Box with fresh apples that are highest quality, and we use shipping methods that provide a quick 2-3 day delivery to most of the 48 continental states. However, we have no control over distance to your address, nor over handling and temperature during transit.
