Orchard Experts – Believe it or not, you don't even have to drive to an orchard to get fresh peaches anymore! You can just buy one of our premium Peach Boxes, packed with our homegrown, juicy, sun-ripened peaches, which are widely popular for home canning and freezing projects. Kauffman Orchards is a family-owned small business in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, established back in 1915 with a vision to provide the local community with fresh, nutritious fruit that enhances quality of life for the American consumer. Today, the orchard still follows that goal. Managed by the 4th and 5th generations of Kauffmans, Kauffman Orchards grows Nutrient-Dense fruit that has enhanced vitamins, minerals, and flavor. Snacking, Canning, Freezing – These premium, non-GMO, yellow-flesh peaches are freestone – meaning, the peach pit pulls out easily, with little or no cutting needed – and therefore well-suited for easy snacking, canning, and freezing. Kauffman peaches are Nutrient-Dense, holding more vitamins, minerals, and flavor than the average peach in the USA, because of the special ways we support the health of the orchard soil and peach trees. Within the box, each peach has soft, high-density foam surrounding it to ensure protection during shipping. The 8-count box contains approximately 3.5-4 lb. of fresh peaches (approximately a half-peck by volume), and the 16-count box contains approximately 7-8 lb. (about a peck by volume). Shipping Information – We hand-pack each peach box with highest-quality peaches, and we use shipping methods that provide a quick 2-3 day delivery to most of the lower 48 United States. However, we have no control over distance to your address, nor over handling and temperature during transit. Since peaches ripen quickly in hot temperatures during transit, we suggest that you consider choosing 2-Day or Next-Day delivery during checkout. Refrigerate your peaches upon arrival.
